Prayer Shawls

"Shawls...made for centuries universal and embracing,
symbolic of an inclusive, unconditionally loving, God.
They wrap, enfold, comfort, cover, give solace,
mother, hug, shelter and beautify.
Those who have received these shawls have been
uplifted and affirmed, as if given wings to
fly above their troubles…”

At Fellowship, we often work on Prayer Shawls during a Saturday morning at church or we work on them in our homes. We offer the shawls to the members of Fellowhip, a local hospital, hospice, shelter, or charity. Knitters of all levels of experience are welcome. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. Come join us! For more information, contact Edith Nedrud at 352-8343.
